I recently sent two sets of games out. One to qube, and another to beatifik. sent on the same day. weeks later, beatifik still hasnt received his game. guess i should use delivery confirmation. qube got his just fine.

so, as the seller, i guess its up to me to do a straight refund?

not that big a deal, it was cheap...but still. just making the issue public.

Yea, it sucks, but it seems the only right thing to do. I had to do delivery confiramtion years ago after a buddy of mine got scammed when an ebayer said he didn't get something when in fact he did. It sucks we can't depend on the postal service to get shit right, but it's all you can do. Best of luck man.

hey, i'm in no rush.

i'm willing to wait it out. maybe it'll get returned to you. i really don't know.

i just want it to be known that i pmed KA about this. i have no beef with him.

i paid $11 for a copy of Advance Wars DS in Dec. by personal check. i haven't recieved the game. i asked him if he had any info. no big deal. i'm not really sweating over the $11 but i would like to play the game.

let's wait a little bit longer ray. i can be patient.

I had a similar experience in the UK in another forum. Royal mail never delivered the game to me and it returned to the seller in about 3-4 weeks, so he sent it again, this time I did get it. Thing is they're (Royal mail) so bad, it happened to him again with another buyer and he had to refund it! :oh_no:

Ive learned a few things about USPS, they dont have a damn clue of what they are doing, really, they lost my PS3 and nobody at their office can offer me some help and to make things worse if you put the track number of the package it appear to be delivered but i didnt receive it, im still waiting for more info about it from the usps, i hope to get things sorted out soon.

Insurance and delivery confirmation is a must when send anything through this morons in USPS.

Everything I ship inside the USA via USPS has Delivery Confirmation on it - whether it's parts from the website or stuff from eBay.

It saved my ass more than once from eBay scammers when selling bigger ticket items and is now part of the Ts&Cs (Terms and conditions) on all my auctions. I just wish they did it with Air Letter Post and Global Priority Mail. With those I'm stuck with a "Certificate of Mailing" as proof I sent it.

Insurance is up to the buyer. I tell 'em it's THEIR risk when they bitch about paying for it. I will not refund any money to someone when their item is damaged and they refused to pay for insurance as that is THEIR stupid decision.

I have learned to ship everything with Delivery Confirmation. It doesn't really help with the tracking of the package but it does let you know (Both the seller and the Buyer) that the package was delivered.

I have mailed a ton of things through the post office and things can get lost but they will usually (always for me) end up back at the shipper or be delivered.

I sold someone here a game a year back or so via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation and it took over two weeks to get to them. I offered a full refund but he waited it out and it finally got to him. Delivery Confirmation really didn't help at all other than letting me (the seller) know when it finally got there.

Usually the best thing to do is to agree on how long the two of you want to wait it out. At that point (if the game is still lost) as a seller, I would issue a refund. If/when the game shows up (to the buyer), then the buyer would send payment for the game or return the game (if he has picked it up elsewhere).

This is where Paypal would come in handy. You are dealing with a check here and so you are going to be sending it back and forth, where with Paypal, you could hit a button and do a refund.

for stuff like that if the seller didnt get DC then I just ask for a scan of their receipt to at least show me that it was shipped, for me to not get insurance is on me not the seller.

The US Postal Service will not consider an item lost until 14 business days pass AFTER the time the package should've arrived.

If someone wants a refund due to a lost package that isn't going to happen until after that time passes. You can't claim insurance until after that time passes.

Hence the name. Again guys remember that DC is not used for tracking it is just to prove it was delivered only.

In all likelihood, the post office is at fault here. If I had to guess if you've waited this long it's probably never going to arrive.
I got my game from aphex a couple of days ago, and he sent it on Feb 9th or whatever.
