Hey guys, I have had a Strikers 1945 cart for a couple months. I haven't played my neo geo in a month and left the cart in the slot and unplugged my neo cabinet.

I went to play it today and it boots up and i hit the coin button and that is fine.
When I hit either 1 or 2 player button, it gets jumbled in the middle and then reboots the whole game.

I tried my other games and they work ok, so it looks like something is wrong with the cart.

Any help on this please? I am pretty new to the whole neo thing and this was mine and my daughters favorite game to play on this stupid thing.

Thanks
Jeff

While I'm probably wrong and about to make myself sound really stupid, it could be a wiring issue with the start buttons, or maybe a voltage issue, or the contacts on the cart just might need to be cleaned. Trying to think of what else it could be... but this reminds me of someones Garou issue where it always said "Final Round" and his button config got all messed up. Man what's with all these Neo's bugging out around here lately? :crying:

I am still wondering why this stuff happens. Was this the first time you played that game on your board?

no, i had played it probably a hundred times in the previous 3-4 months that I have had the cabinet and cart. I haven't turned it on in over a month though with the holidays and all, and it started doing it? The strikers cart was left in it during that month though?

Does anyone know if it may be a sign of the backup battery dying?
