Hey guys, got a prob with my big-red....

The cab was working perfectly earlier tonight - till I had too many things plugged into the wall outlets in the garage, and the wall breaker tripped.....when the wall breaker was reset, my big red (which was in-play when the wall tripped) didnt come back up - it powered on, the marquee lit up, and the credit LED's were on - but no picture. I turned it off for a few, and then when i turned it back on, it only goes to test mode - regardless of what carts/slots I use.

What did I fry?? Anybody know how to fix this?? Help me out...

Well that's good to hear..

I'd suspect that something within the power supply had to reset/cool off..

I figure that on MVS power supplies(Complete overload and short circuit protection) means that it'll do what yours did..

....................
I had something similar happen putting a bad(unknown) 4 slot board in my Big Red....When I fired up the cab something within the board was shorted and the whole cab turned off like if I had a bad power surge or power outage..
When this happened I could of swore I heard a click in the bottom of the cab, power supply.

Turning it back on,no picture.....The cab just seemed shot........I was pissed!!
I waited for awhile, tried it later and it was fine..(with my original mobo back in)
Decided never to put any unknown in condition boards in that cab again..and that dead 4 slot hasn't been touched since..
