Can someone help me with a 2.71 downgrade?

I downloaded the 2.71 update from 2.60 off of PSP-Hacks.

I'm running 2.71 now and I'm trying to execute the downgrader to 1.50.

I run the HENC thing, the screen flashes blue and resets the PSP.

I went to GAME, executed X.Y.Z and it just turns the screen black for a few seconds and restarts the PSP.

What am I doing wrong?

Heh.. what they DON'T tell you in this installer is to leave the UMD hatch open....

Did you figure this out? I've never done it, but I've done tons of other downgrades and I can try to help you if you want.
