I would actually be tempted to get one of these if there were a slight price drop, an increase in battery life, and a couple of other things.

I've heard they might add a hard drive. If thats the case it will only get more expensive.

There are some, but nothing with any substance.

I myself was waiting for a revised version, but just went ahead and took the plunge.

For battery life, I'm actually finding it pretty good if you manage it properly: make sure the wireless is switched off when you aren't using it, use an appropriate backlight setting, and turn the games and system off when you can rather than putting it into sleep mode.

I have an order in for the more powerful battery, but I think I may have been a bit rash in doing so. Still, it isn't overly expensive, and means I will always have a fully charged battery as a spare should I need it.
