A little thread for the latest details !

All 3 collections come with stickers for the PSP
Edit: forgot to say: come with them if you order through konami style

i added screenshots of full screen mode, they are from a WIP build and in GIF format so inacurate in term of colors and some shades may have disappeared

Twinbee:
(btw the games can be played in Tate mode, zoomed etc)

Parodius ! They aged the best imo :) And the soundtracks are killer.

My second choice will be TwinBee, then at the very last Salamander (i already have the Gradius Collection).

No kidding. I'm seriously considering doing that nintendo case mod to improve the d-pad now.

I will be getting Salamader Collection and the Gradius Collection (Budget) when they are released (25th of January here).

I'll probably pick the others up later.

I did that but insted with a thin phone card. It does the trick but also makes the d-pad to stiff for my taste. I think the best route still is the d-pad add on that capcom gave out with Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 3.

I haven't bought a PSP game since Gradius collection. That collection was so rad, I will definately be picking up Salamander collection. That sticker is sooo sick. Thanks for posting the pics! I will post my impressions when I get it.

TwinBee, Parodius and Salamander Portable for the PSP look awesome! and I can't wait for them to go on sale at a budget price at Play-Asia. :)

I just need a Capcom or Namco D-pad to play some of my PSP games alot better like Darkstalkers Chronicle and Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX. :)

Budget price? Holy shit, I'll buy them all. I was prepared to pay the usual price for Salamander Collection and let the others go.

BTW Hanafuda- I finally beat FFIII, it was awesome. I'm working my way through Tales of Tempet and DQJoker right now, highly recommend both games!

Sorry to confuse you, but Gradius is coming out budget (2980 Yen) and the others are all about 4000 Yen.

Glad you enjoyed FFIII. I still have my copy: I'll play through again some day, but right now, I'm in a real PSP mode, and am loving MGS Portable Ops. I highly recommend it, although it sounds like you have a lot to work through right now.. :)

Oh well... I'll still pick up Salamander. I almost bought the arcade board on several ocassions, but settled with the ps2 and saturn collections. Salamander 2 is such an under-appreciated rad game.

I really want to play MGS special ops, but honestly I haven't been into MGS since MGS2. MGS2 really turned me off from the whole series. I suppose I should give it another chance. I really want some more PSP games to get into, I hear Rockman Rockman (powered up) is really nice, and Rockman ZX for DS has made me get into that series again.

I just bought a DS Lite today, usually I don't like buying the gameboy upgrades, but I play my DS way too much. It's just such a good system.

Who are you buying it through to get it for $30? I see it on Play-Asia for $35 (while the other 2 are $40) but thats the cheapest i've seen it so far.

Salamander looks fucking awesome. I wanna pick that and Parodius up.
I owned several versions of TwinBee...eh, been there done that. Don't have the soft spot in my heart for them like the others.

Thank God for region-free play on the PSP.

Oh man... Boner material.

I would like to buy all three, but my financial situation when they come out will dictate whether or not that happens. If not, I will buy Salamander first.

I've never been a massive Metal Gear fan myself, but for me, Portable Ops is my favourite. If you have a PSP, you must get this game.

Cool. Salamander and Parodius look great. I may try to grab these (used hopefully) on my next trip through Japan.

You should still get the arcade board dude! You need more cool stuff for your supergun.

Is there any chance of a US release, or should I just pick up the JPN versions?

Picked up Salamander and Gradius (budget) tonight.

Salamander brings back memories!

It is also my first experience of Xexex beyond the mini version of stage 2 from Ganbare Goemon 2 on the SNES/GBA. That stage looks and sounds superb on the PSP :)

If only I had the space! I might get G-Darius before Salamander... don't know, it's a tough call. I'm definately going to pick this up, I was REALLY happy with the Gradius collection. I have to dust off my PSP! I brought it with me to America during winter vacation, but Portrait of Ruin ruined any chance of PSP gaming.
