I put in a CR2032 for now. I really want a rechargable battery that will work instead. It sucks having to change out the battery every year or so. Plus I don't have a back-up save cart.

I have the worst luck with it even in my Sega Saturn. It is weird, they die so fast. Oh well, it's no major big deal. Still not as bad as the VMU for the DC system, haha 2 weeks if you leave it plugged into the controller when the system is off. I wonder if there is a way to do what the Turbo Duo does by storing power in a capacitor instead. I like that a lot more. Just turn on your system and charged.

That sounds interesting, or maybe build something that resembles the Neo Geo CD backup battery circuitry. That one charges itself too if you just play it sometimes and lasts for years. It can't be that difficult. Anyone?

Hmmm, my NGCD single speed has a battery. I use my CDZ to play instead. I guess that might work. Gotta make sure it is the same voltage. I could just by a dead Sega CD and take out the battery.
