Best readily available GP2X joystick cap?

The cap that came with my GP2X sucks. I think the previous owner homebrewed it since the part that connects to the stick is an O shape, not a D shape (so it moves around), and what's more that part isn't even perfectly centered.

The GP32X.com forums love the DaveC cap, but from what I've heard it's hard to find. What do y'all use and recommend?

why don't you register on Gp32x, and PM DaveC. I used to be a member of that board but it's been flooded with assholes. I still use my GP32 and don't really see the need to upgrade to GP2x quite yet.

I am registered there, and I actually never thought to PM the guy since I'd just heard on there that there aren't any more DaveC caps.

What I'd really like is my GP2X modded with that NGage QD D-pad as a replacement for the joystick, but I don't know of where I could get that done for cheap.

yeah me neither, i've kinda fell out of the scene a while ago, and just go every once in a while to see if anything is happening with the GP32. I still use my FLU all the time.

if i'm not mistaken, DaveC stopped selling caps because Gamepark themselves were selling them. Maybe go to the web site for the GP2X, or go to www.gbax.com
