When I play with my frineds we ussualy have a set of rules we all follow, such as
1: No abusing a move (aka g@y-spamming )
the rule of thumb is to use a move max 3times per round if not in a combo, or do the same combo 3 times max/round. Of course there are exceptions to this but it's mostly a guideline
2: No excessive turtling
3: No bunnyjumping around like a nut...
(Note that DM's or SDM's do not fall under these rules since they require a stock and they don't just fall out of the sky )
and so forth. I know it sounds like nazi-germany but these are guideluines and tend to make games much more fun and nicer to watch. It gives the game an air of "fair and square" and honesty since it's a bit harder to play now.
These rules were actually created when we all sucked at KoF'99 and people started using jhun and using his alternative stances to kick the hell out of anyone (we didn't know the countermoves then ).
What do you guys think? Do you have anything like this? I'm posting this because some loser beat me by abusing a couple of moves to death and then thinking he was good... I got pissed, picked the same guy and did the same to him, not hard at all...
