How do I get the good ending? I read that I need to use the sactuary spell on the sisters, but I don't know where that is.

In the first desert world, you have to go to the lower right corner and use the Toad spell...right at the bottom of that hill where the rolling ball was coming for you. You go into that little room/crevice/whatever you call it and get the spell.

I got stuck there too and Bill helped me out.

Now if I could only find my lost DS I could finish the Sister mode :(

cool game, but i think the whole sanctuary spell on the sisters is a really lame mechanic to extend the game.

So many people I know have gotten stuck there. It's understandable though... For whatever reason, that was like the first thing I tried...

Somehow, when it came time that I needed it, I already had it... Can't complain, I guess.

Beat the boss in the forest painting, the frog spell isn't a hidden spell or anything.

Thanks for letting me know how to get the frog spell. I just got to the forest level and I am using the medusa whip to turn the enemies to stone so that I can pass the level a little easier. :)

stuck again. how do you get past the train in 13th street?

have one character out, and then immediately when the train slams into you, push A to bring out the other character to help push. If you have them both out when the train first appears, only one of them will push.

I love this game's logic. A train slamming into you at like 80 mph does no damage, but you do get hurt from bumping into a maid.

I want this game but I don't

you get me

I basically did all of CV DoS bar the very good ending, I just can't see why this game would be much different to DoS.

until I hear otherwise I won't bother as yet, I saw a couple videos and the way they say their names every time you switch over pisses me off enough, let alone playing it

I dunno

Well I don't have DoS (yet). Awesome game tho (PoR), just get it, play it, and enjoy it!

Ditto. Can't have too much of a good thing. Both games are awesome. The Greatest Five Dual Crush is freaking awesome when you beat nest of Evil. I also just finished every quest and got the Magus Ring. It made the boss rushes pretty easy. The prizes kind of sucked tho.

that's a really ridiculous reason to write the game off, you get used to it really quickly. And if the US voices annoy you can use a code for Japanese voices instead, to fulfill any Wasian tendencies.

The game is nothing groundbreaking, it is pretty much just another Metroidvania, but damned if it isn't fun.

I've started a new game on Hard (regular Level 50 cap), with none of the equipment from a New Game+. IT IS FUCKING HARD AS BALLS. Finally a Hard mode in these games that lives up to its name. Anyone tried this, and if so, how far have you gotten? (New Game only, not New Game+)

Stella & Loretta are freaking to powerful and they kicked my ass very quickly when I had Charlotte casting the sactuary spell and having Jonathan attack but they beat me to fast and I got a game over. I am at level 32 right now. :spock:

You have to distract Stella and Loretta away from Charlotte. At the same time you have to keep Charlotte on screen. So basically just run in the other direction, away from Charlotte, the thing you really have to watch out for is the big ice crystal, and when Loretta casts the ice spray. The Sanctuary spell has a wide field of effect, so just keep practicing, and this will turn out to be the easiest boss fight you ever have to encounter.

I got through Sisters mode... I think it's a tad too easy 'cos they can fly everywhere, and their spell points recover mad fast, it's basically the recovery rate at which Charlotte and Jonathan gain from wearing a Magus ring.

the best way to "distract" the sisters with Jonathan is to use his Taunt skill, of course.

I made Charlotte cast the Sanctuary spell a little away on screen from Stella and Loretta while I made Jonathan distract the sisters but Loretta used the big ice crystals against Jonathan and he died quickly. Maybe level 32 isn't strong enough but at least I got a couple of hits on the sisters though. lol :lolz:

I will do what you told me to later tonight or tomorrow. :) ;)
