Here's the deal: I bought a Mint WW7 Mvs Kit from this guy through eBay, the game was also offered here before going to eBay.

I paid on December 6 through Paypal, the guy got back to me on December 9 (Saturday) and said he would ship on Tuesday (December 12), that was the last time I heard from him, even though I have sent him many emails, also some eBay messages and even a PM here, asking for a shipping confirmation and the corresponding tracking number (I paid for Airsure shipping, which should take about 5working days).

The info I have on this guy is:

I'm not that far from him mate so gave him a buzz for u it be cheaper for m to ring anyway ! Hopefully I'll have some info for you soon ! :)

A lot of people went on Holiday over the XMAS period and shipping (including EMS) is really slow anyway as it gets held up all over the place with staff being on vacation.

Maybe this is the situation.!!

I thought about it and I really hope that this ends up being the case, but I am reluctant to believe so, because I received another parcel shipped from UK via Airsure in due time and it was shipped at about the same time than this other one. Plus the guy was quite communicative before being paid, but now he has vanished, it feels too much fishy in my opinion.

Just for your Information the post works quite different in the UK as it all depends on what sorting office and what HUB the mail goes through, 2 things can ge posted exactly the same time but one can take a couple of days more than the other.! Great system.!!

Holy S***!!, I didn't saw those negatives until now, it seems that other people also got tired of being ignored, now I'm more pessimistic than ever. I am going to file a Paypal dispute to begin with, then I will see if I need to turn it into a claim or cancel my payment through a chargeback...

On the bright side it's great to see how much helpful and caring people can be here, one of the best points of these boards, no doubt of it, I really appreciate your help and support folks, thank you very much.

PS: It seems that maybe the guy works in or owns a videogame store

I think Shawn should disclose details of the address the WW7 was shipped to. Seems like the right thing to do.

Anyway, his ebay profile says Peterborough, but his profile here claims he is in Northamptonshire.

Seems VERY dodgy, but still, you should have more info this time tomorrow.

Bought Shock Troopers MVS (Glad it wasn't AES) ebaywise from this sucker on dec 11 and payed instantly (teh stupidity). Have not received the game as of yet and he doesn't reply to any emails.

Edit: I did today actually receive an answer to my paypal dispute. He did not answer any of my questions, just a quick "Item sent. My apologies."
He's alive at least.
I have no idea when he sent the game (which I doubt he has) and when I can expect it.

I just got this from the seller through email sent at 1:52 AM!!! (I wasn't able to get asleep just thinking on this bad transaction):

I still have not received my game. Sent payment Dec 11. In the paypal dispute he claimed on jan 3 that the game was on its way. Now I just got an email outside of the dispute where he wrote

I called his house yesterday, but "he was not in". It was his "brother" I was talking to... Jeeeez. I've lost all hope on this character. Unless I get a tracking number this monday, I'll escalate the paypal dispute into a claim, report him to ebay and give him a hefty neg.

Got my game today, legit and in great condition and all. Still would not recommend anybody to deal with him though. Judging by my own experience and from people in his ebay feedback that I've been in contact with, he seems to have made it a habit of holding people's money for 4-7 weeks, not communicate or very rudimentary so and then after paypal disputes, claims etc he finally gets the shit sent. When he finally sent my item, he gave me a better shipping service than I had paid for though... A psychological mystery this chap.... :spock:
