How to get Zero on KOF2000?

I can't even beat Zero... I suck!!

He kicks my butt everytime..

Once I almost beat him, I kept using my Panda breaker.. he seems to be defenseless against the Panda. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I dont know how you get to use him but I thought he was the easiest kof boss to beat ever,it never takes me more than one fighter to beat him on normal(level 4)

Only had the game a couple of weeks and played all the way through about 6 times though.I have not played it on level 8 though so maybe then I guess I would be stuffed.

I think Rugal is a lot tougher a boss in kof 98 and I only ever beat him if i just stay back and let him run at me before I hit him,otherwise I get destroyed each time?

I guess some people are better at other bosses than others?

I couldnt beat king lion in savage reign to save my life,even on easy,that was a few years ago now though,so who knows if I got that game again!!!

Ok guys, thanks to LWK, you will all LAUGH YOUR ASSES OFF at a concrete way of beating him.

Step 1: Back up into corner.

Step 2: press stading C if he is in range.

Step 3: Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Step 4: Laugh at how easy that was.

by the way, that little method of beating him works on difficulty 8.

Dip 1-3, hold start at character select, Zero is in the imaginary box underneath Kula

What is "Stading C"?

I beat Rugal easily in KOF98.. but I just can't touch Zero in KOF2000. I'll try the ducking in the corner trick though.

All you guys gotta do to beat zero (I always play 2K on EXPERT, cause its shit as far as difficulty and AI goes)

Stand in the corner and use a poker like Benimaru, whenever zero comes near press c, and he will come near again, repeat this again. You can beat him with a perfect if you time it right.

Lame I know. The game is a joke.

Well I have another method it works very well and you might not go perfect(if you are smart you'll get it) and here it is:
calculate to jump towards him with C&D but without hitting him, block or roll because he's going to throw he's skikt attack at you then you'll have him at you r mercy for a combo, even a infinity <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0"> .

Or you could do this:
calculate to jump with C&D but this time try to land on the other side(he's back) and maybe he'll do the skirt attack on the opposite side and you'll have him at your mercy(note: some times he turns arrownd and does it towards you but all you have to do is block or roll).
