I just got mine in the mail today and i'm noticing the composite video quality is lacking a bit, in fact it looks more like RF.

Is this normal or do I have an issue with the connector on the console (I have tried several cables).

D-Lite apparently does S-Video mods for CDX systems.

I highly recommend it. I did my X'EYE and it was worth every penny.

Thanks guys i'll look into the S-Video mod.

Actually, since everything on ebay is so cheap right before christmas, I was able to stumble upon a mislabelled auction and got one. The auction was simply labelled "Sega Genesis Game Console" and when I clicked on the auction and saw the pic, to my surprise it was a CDX!

Long story short, I got the CDX with 3 Sega CD games, a few genesis games, and 2 controllers for $43 shipped.

Actually the 32X works great with it. It can be a little unstable atop the CDX, but other than that it works like a champ.
