AAAHHH!!!! I think my Saturn is broke!!

Since X-mas I've been playing Nights on my Saturn. Today, it won't load up the game, but it will play the music tracks. I also tried a few other games and so far the only two I could get it to read is Sonic R and Dragonforce. Non of my games are imports or bootlegs, although many are pretty scratched up, although they have been for a while and that never mattered before.

The last two days I've had no problems playing Nights and today, it doesn't seem possible.

I can't seem to find a CD lense cleaner in my house, so I'll have to pick one up before or after work today, and see if that helps, might as well get a CD cleaner too while I'm at it. Does anyone know about those scratch repair things, do they work or are the BS.

Is this a sign that my Saturn is on it's last leg? If so, where should I look to get a good deal on one? Should I try to find a modded console so I can play US/EUR/JAP games?

I would try and locate a replacement lens although most likely noone stocks them now. The alternative is to get a new machine which you should be able to pick up from ebay for around 20 dollars max

I just got home a few minutes ago with a lens cleaner and it seemed to do the trick for now. Hopefully that fixed it.

Nope it was only fixed for the a while. Earlier today it broke again. Now it won't read any disc.

I guess it's time to get a new Saturn
