A pack with Arcade RType 1 and RType 2 cannot be bad

It s not too expensive either but too bad it ain t free.

I d love playing RType Delta on PSP...

I was just about to download R Types, but then realised my PSP isn't at firmware 3.03.

Sorry for the n00b question, but how can I update it?

Basically:
you download a PBP (psp executable package) to the PSP\GAME\UPDATE folder of the PSP and execute that from the PSP.

I updated the firmware via PS3, then went and grabbed R Types for 525 Yen.

All very cool.

I'm away for a few days now, so my PSP is prepped with GnG on UMD, and R Types on the memory card.
