Contra over wifi via internet? Probably not. With it only needing 1 cartridge that would mean to play multiplayer, DS to DS, not online, Online would only need 1 cartridge regardless.

I really wish that Nintendo would cut the crap and call wireless play "WiFi", and playing online "playing online via WiFi" or something... It causes far too much confusion.

You forgot to mention that that Contra is the arcade version, not the NES version. I don't believe that's ever been available in a Konami collection yet.
