I hate when there is so many good games out at once! I have Yggdra, Summon Night 2, Castlevania Por and now THIS screaming for my attention. Totally overwhelmed.

Anyway, I downloaded teh ROMZ of this just cuz I didn't know what the hell it was. Holy dammit! If you like Eye of the Beholder or Lands of Lore, seriously pick this up! I immediately ordered it after playing it for 30 minutes. Apparently its a pretty small-run game, the company sells them on ebay primarily. So, probably be a nice one to have. But the game is badass and polished as hell.

Looks good.... so this is not widely available in stores like EB/GS?

It doesn't sound like it. A search on EB and Gaystop turns up nothing. Its on Amazon and direct from the publisher on Ebay. I ordered both the games they put out. Mazes and Back to Stone [which I also played the ROM of...its cool, but password systems can suck my balls] Figured they'd be cool to have.

I just completed the Forsaken Temple...took me a few days to figure out what to do with the Gem keys and realize I couldn't beat the monster guarding the second one [had to just run away]. Good times. Great game, seriously.

Word on the official forum for Mazes of Fate indicates that the game was offered to EB/GS but as EB/GS consider the GBA to be on the way out they passed on it. i would imagine that the GBA is now in its official decline and smaller print runs / smaller distribution is going to be the norm until the system is totally supplanted by the DS.

Oh and I'd recommend ordering both games from Amazon as I just got ass-raped on the shipping from eBay. (They don't allow combined shipping because Back to Stone has a forced immediate payment on it)

So it was 10 dollars of shipping as opposed to free shipping through Amazon...

Still I agree it looks good, so I ordered both games...gotta support the underdog publishers.
I just ordered both of these from Amazon, and they've shipped them out this morning. Screenshots look great, so I'm quite looking forward to their arrival.

Yeah, I ordered Back To Stone. I think its a couple years old [originally French?] I tried it out as well. Its okay. Its not at polished as Mazes but its still cool. One BIG problem I have with it though is a password save system. BOOOOOOO!

Still like you said, gotta' support the underdogs. Especially for a system that doesn't have to die.

Nice tip, I will definitely order this from Amazon.

Anyone tried Back to Stone by the same developer?? It looks pretty good!!

I got a refund of 50% of the shipping via ebay. Just sent them a note saying I bought both and they sent a refund back via Paypal.

Still cheaper to do via Amazon...but I'm impressed with Grafitti Entertainment's response time.
