I loved FFTA, so will be looking forward to this. Hope it is on a portable system though.

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Fuuketsu no Guurimore, the sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for GBA, no details or platform was announced.

I thought the new batch of FFT games were all going to be on handhelds.

Here's hoping it's on the DS.

Based on this related news, I imagine it will be, but you never know:

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lions War for PSP, a port of the PSone version of Final Fantasy Tactics, with new job classes such as the Onion Knight, anime style cutscenes and new playable characters. The game will be released in 2007.

TA didnt suck. it just wasnt as good as it's predecessor.

FFA on PSP? that is a long game. I hope you have 20 battery packs...

This is basically a port of the PS1 version with a few added features. Talk about Square Cashing in on a 8+ year old game.

Nintendo DS = New DQ game
PSP = old FF game

If Square had any sense they'd quit making PSP titles all together and just put out DS stuff.

Thats how you make shit sell like hot cakes in any region these days. Next to no one buys PSP games anymore. :lolz:

Sounds cool, i'm not a very big FF fan these days, but those Final Fantasy Tactics games are pretty addicting. I might have to pick this one up.

I'm thinking of getting a PSP soon, and as I have never played the original FFT, this will be a definite for me too.

It does suck that the DS gets new games and the PSP gets ports. I expect MGS Portable Ops will help to change this though.

Still, not everything SE does is gold. Children of Mana on the DS was shite.
