This is just an attempt by me to try and get a reply from MarkoftheWolves. I've sent several PMs, but haven't gotten a reply. His account page shows that he's logged on as recently as yesterday, but still no reply.

We had a fairly large transaction in the works, but a money order was lost in the mail (at least I'm guessing that's what happened). He sent me a money order, but it never got here. I don't want anyone to think I'm running some scam, and I'm trying to clear up the situation as reasonably as possible. I believe he should be able to contact the bank, and see that the money order hasn't been cashed yet, correct? It's been almost three weeks since he says he mailed it out to me.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do in this situation? Up until now, he's been very responsive and great to deal with. Maybe his PM box is full?

If you saved the money order reciept, you can look up if its been cashed. Thats an easy way to tell if it made it. Did you put delivery confirmation on the money order when you sent it out?

Sorry, let me clarify - the money order was sent to me, not from me. That's why I'm curious that I haven't heard from him yet - I'd figure that after three weeks he'd be wondering what was going on...which is why I've PMed him a few times to apprise him of the situation.

I don't know if he put delivery confirmation on it - he lives in Canada, as do I. It should have gotten here in about three days, if not sooner. I've never had anything get lost in the mail, so I'm just not sure where to go from here (on MarkoftheWolves behalf).

Okay, I really need some help here. I've sent 4 PMs over the last two weeks to MarkoftheWolves, and haven't received a reply yet. I can see from his user profile that he's logged in several times since I've sent the first PM, and still I haven't heard from him.

I want to get this issue resolved, and want him to get his money back. I also want to know if he still wants these games or not, because if he doesn't, I'd really like to sell them. My game sale was supposed to fund my Christmas shopping, so it's not fun having a few hundred dollars worth of stuff that I'm unable to sell (cause it's still technically on hold for him), but that I'm not receiving any money for.

What can I do at this point? Has anyone else heard from MarkoftheWolves? Is there some other way I can contact him? I just don't get it - one would think that he'd want to get this issue resolved too. I can't possibly figure out a reason as to why he'd ignore all of my PMs.

No, I haven't. We originally agreed that he would send the money order first, and I'd send out the games when I received the money order. It never got here. I still have the games.

That's why I've been trying to get a hold of him - because if he's still got the receipt for the money order, he would be able to go to the bank, get them to check if it's been cashed (it hasn't, as I never got it and it would have been made out to me), and then they can cancel it and give him his money back.

I've been doing buying and selling games with people on several sites for years now, and I've never had this happen before. I guess it was bound to happen sometime, as the postal system is not perfect. I just want MarkoftheWolves to be able to get his money back, but he won't reply to my messages. I believe I am being very reasonable about the whole issue, I'd like to get everything resolved properly.

Since you have stated that he has been on this site and has not returned any of your PMs, I would guess that he isn't interested in following through with the deal. If he sent a MO, I would think that he would want to get a hold of you to find out why you haven't sent out the games yet.

Is it possible that he changed his mind about the deal and didn't end up sending out a MO?

The easiest thing would be for him to just tell you he is no longer interested. (If that is the case) That way, you could move on and deal with someone else.

Your hands are kind of tied here. If he stated that he sent a MO, you really can't sell off the items to someone else until you talk to him. However, after this much time, I would think that he would either want to know why you haven't sent out his stuff or wondered what happend to his "lost" money order.

Is there any other details missing from this transaction? Has he read your PM's?
What was the last thing he told you he was going to do?

Well, I'm happy to say that all has been taken care of, the money is now in my hands, and I'll be shipping the package tomorrow. The money order never did arrive, if anyone was curious - I guess it must have actually gotten lost in the mail. That's kind of scary, to be honest. But I can understand that it does happen.

Everything has been resolved in a good manner, and I'd like to thank everyone who contributed/listened/helped out. I really enjoy trading on this site, and am now still without a single bad transaction! :)

the usps is horrendous for losing shit and dropping it off at the wrong house..especially when its ran by retards.
