i brought n paid for some games with paypal on nov 1st..but i've not recived anything yet

how do i go about getting my money back??( i'll file a disput with ebay but not with paypal)..also the seller said he send it an gave me this tracking #

and fter entering the # on the usps site...i got this message/result

What method of shipping was used? It looks like the seller did indeed mail your parcel out.

And a lot of times the tracking number won't update until the package is delivered..


You may want to call your local post office or mail distribution center with your tracking number/package inquiry..
They may have it there for some reasons..

I don't know about Canada..Do they have say a charge you may have to pay if the item didn't have gift on or or such.
Some kinda tax or shipping postage you have to pay to get the item..
It could be held up..

Could customs be holding it up..?

You ever wonder why I don't ship to Canada or overseas..I do not want to have to have a problem like this occur.

i got all the other packge that i brought after that...and i brought from that seller a week befor..and i recived that package in 2weeks

Somethings could get tied up..

Did you pay for insurance..?

What type of shipping did you pay for...?

With what you write I'd say if you got all that from him then he seems to be a good seller.
You even got a tracking number....He seems to be very legit,and with a tracking number it shows he did ship it.

I'd wait and keep communication with the seller...

That's me though..you do what you like.

The package could be held up there for some reason...or may have been sent back there.

I had it happen with a big box Billy Burger sent me..It sat in my local post office for days..The box got destroyed in shipping.
I think they were waiting for no one to claim it.....Calling them over and over I finally got it..

There is a strong possibility that your parcel has been held up in customs. A number of randomly selected parcels are held up by customs for inspection during the month as normal opertions procedure. Your parcel is probably one of them.
I once mailed out several parcels to one recipient via EMS and the first parcel I sent was held up for over a month while the others made it through within 3-5 days.

YES. This is true. Check your Canadian Post Office as they may have your parcel there just sitting around unclaimed(This has happened to me several times because my mail carrier did not leave a pickup slip) or have the seller call the USPS 1-800 # and provide them with the tracking information so that they can investigate.

I have had things go to canada and get held up in customs. As mentioned by Big Bear, I have also had things get shipped and just sit in the P.O.. Honestly, I feel better about shipping overseas then using ups or something non-ems to ship to canada. Now that I think about it, I would bet I have had more things go wrong than right when shipping up north. Just my 2 cents.




I am sorry your stuff is not there yet man. I just waited over 5 weeks for a package from France that was supposed to be here in 10 days. Fingers crossed man! I HOPE IT COMES SOON!!!! :D Best of luck!

Overseas/Canada items are taking a bit longer than usual this time of year. I have had quite a few packages get delayed going to Canada, France, and the UK.

It's expected. I just learned the other day that anything over 4lbs coming or going to/from the US is subject to inspection, and that is where most of the backups are.

File a dispute

If you have not recieved your item then you should file a claim with Paypal.
Ebay will do very little however your seller has the burden of proof related to his shippment.
It can fail to arrive if he labeled incorrectly and / or due to customs issues related to improper filing of a customs form. (hopefully it is mearly a customs delay which can happen from time to time)
Your seller needs to take some responsibility and if he will not you are left with little to do beside file a claim.
your seller needs to care more about this than you do. Most likely he did send your item however for future sake pay the insurance!

Remember If you dont file a claim within a certain amount of time you will loose the right to file. You may be past that time line. I believe the file limit is 30 Days.

I know these things because I am a power seller on ebay.
