CPS3 battery swap technique perfected

Tonight, 3 battery swaps, all 100% successes. Best of all, Double Impact was a 3 wire cartridge. Thanks to the help of MKL, it became a 4 wire cartridge (re-routed the ground wire). All swaps were a total success. Now JoJo2, Warzard and Double Impact will live for a long time

Whats the life expectancy on the carts now?

Since they are li-ion would they charge themselves when the game is plugged in?

6 Years is the expected life of a cart with a new battery. I don't trust them more than 2-3 years tho. I get really paranoid about the batterys dying on me.

Dude this isn't walmart LOL

I dunno I guess no warranty is expressed or implied. Its a do at your own risk type of thing. I haven't killed a cartridge yet (knock on wood) while replacing the battery, so I dunno. I'll hook it up if anyone wants it done, just offering.
