i was at gamestop last night, they had plenty. i'll try swinging by soon and check for you, it's 39.99 + tax (7%) + shipping to you.
this goes for anyone needing a wii-mote.
nunchucks however, they seem to sell out of quicker. i'm looking for 1 nunchuck.

Too bad I only have the Nunchuk that came with the system, so no boxing matches.

My wife will be out shopping today so if she sees them (wii remote or nunchuck), I'll have her pick up a couple for people on the forums @ cost. But I doubt she will find anything.

There are 2 more Gamestops I didn't check but I ran out of time. Yes, that's 5 Gamestops within like 3 miles of eachother.
