hi there, i have a mvs-4-25 that has a pretty dark monitor, it takes a little while for it too warm up and look nice, and even then, it is kinda dark.. was wondering if there are any extra settings to try besides the basic color/rgb/ knobs. ALSO, it takes a little while for the sound to come in, it is really low the first 10 minutes, then it is loud, is that normal? other than that the cab is awesome...

Usually that's related to monitor emissions. You'll probably need to zap it with a CRT tester/rejuvenator. Your local tv repair shop ought to be able to check & zap it pretty cheap. One near me quoted me $30 to do it. Eventually I bought my own B&K unit. Too bad you aren't closer to Dallas.

Check your power supply first but it's probably going to be a bad cap in the sound section of the board.
