Lovergoat's just got back to me by PM already, but it's Electroplankton.

My g/f (who I just got hooked on video games by buying her a DS) suddenly asked for it. Apparently one of her clients (the guy who invented "magnetic poetry") likes it a lot and now she wants it.

At least it's not the $300 DDR pad that she asked for last year.

(to be fair, she has no idea how much some of this stuff costs or how annoying it can be to find --still, I am keeping her well away from Neo stuff; I don't want to hear "I here Twinkle Star Sprites is fun!" :loco: )

isnt Electroplankton out in the US ... or is it sold out?

I see it over here quite often, I think..

You could always get the spanky ltd edition japanese boxset for more sexytime points.

Theres no text in the game anyway really

she better be clapping and stuff, theres a shiteload of secrets in that game you'll never find out about unless you read the FAQ

No, it is still available in the USA.

Is there something different about the UK version?

Only price/condition. As has been brought up on this forum previously, it ended up being a rarer game in the US market.

I keep seeing new/used Amazon.com marketplace for $50 ("used-good" condition) to $99 (new), and I want to make sure it's new and I'm not getting totally fleeced.

The game stores in the Twin Cities suck. Gamestop/EB/BB don't have anything that "old" and have no clue about anything. If I ask about it they're probably just try to convince me to cut my losses and order a PS3

It is not an easy game to find in the USA since it was released on line only. I am sure it will be more difficult to find as the months go on, as I see that some Ebay auctions are around the $50 mark.

If you end up wanting a USA copy, I can get you a new one for around $30. The place I go through has them in stock as of this morning but that could always change as well.

If you do end up with a UK version, enjoy the case. I prefer the UK cases to the USA/Japanese DS cases.

I've already sent the wheels in motion, so I'll take a pass for now (and you've got me interested in seeing a UK case). I forgot you used to be a game store owner, I'll give you a shout next time ;)

The Japanese version is all in English anyhow, and the manual is all pictoral as well. Nintendo didn't really make the US version available outside of its online store, which was a bit strange. I guess they didn't think it would sell.

I swear I saw this the other day...

Really that hard to find? Maybe I should pick it up. (or help one of you all out)
