Length and width of the covers are the same as their respective PCBs, of course.

The smaller 2-slot and 4-slot are 39 x 28 cm. The bigger 4-slot (and probably also the bigger 2-slot) is 45 x 28 cm. The height of the covers is always 4 cm.

That's in here. You can see the end result in my sig (victoly link).

I probably still have the dims around here for screw hole spacing / slot hole size if you need them though you could probably pull them off the drawing if you needed to.

Actually I'm not making a PCB cover, I am making something else.

My friend makes dust covers and I am planning on making a few for 2 and 4 slots as well as other custom CMVS systems.

Here's what the graphic looks like on the cloth:

I thought of doing this since my CMVS slot is fully exposed so I end up putting a book on it to keep the dust out.

Let me know what you think.

Q4T.

Yeah, I hadn't mentioned mine because the question looked like you were building something around the cover, not replacing it. Just couldn't put my finger on what that would be, though. :)

If anyone could get me a dimensioned drawing, I could easily throw this thing in Inventor and get exact sheetmetal dimensions or a at least get some quality CAD drawings.

Don't worry, I can publish them in .pdf so anyone can open them.

I already narrowed it down to 18" x 11.5" x 1.75" as a medium between the 2 different sizes. The additional space is for panel mount jacks.

If anyone is interested in one PM me.

She has different colors available but for the graphic white is best as it has a white background on it. I was initially only gonna get one for my CMVS but I figured maybe other would want one too.
