Mac g3 help!............................................. .

I'm buying a mac g3 without a Broadband adapter, just a 56k and i wanted know what i needed to get for Broadband how one would go putting it in. I hope its as easy as a pc :help:

WHat type of Mac G3 is it; Imac, powermac, or beige tower/desktop?

I don't think you can add a broadband adapter to an early Imac, but I may be wrong. I don't think it has any type of expansion slots.

Edit: It's been a while since i've seen one of these, so if it does have a PCI slot shoot me a PM, I think I have an ethernet card from a beige G3 i give you.

you can always use a USB broadband adapter. Wireless even.

True, just make sure the device has driver support for OSX/Classic.

I thought all imacs (even the introductory 233 MHz model) had Ethernet 10/100???? According to everymac.com

Maybe I don't understand what you mean by broadband adapter?

yes, it'll have ethernet, what you do with it is completely up to you

I'd suggest getting a broadband router for a start
