Weird situation. The 2 slot cab I'm restoring has the 25" RCA tube with QNIC board. I've noticed that the screen starts stretching vertically near the top 1/3 of the picture tube. You can easily notice it with rolling credits that roll from bottom to top. The text starts getting bigger near the top portion of the monitor.

I have the vertical size turned to where there is about 1/4"-3/8" from edge of picture tube to edge of image. That is to say, I do not have the image stretched vertically beyond the perimeter of the monitor's tube. It isn't extremely noticeable, but I can tell.

??????

Also, any tips on getting the white to be more white and less yellow-ish?
Was just going to mess with the color adjustments a little on the neck board.

Thanks, man. I have a cap kit already, but haven't installed yet. That is this weekend's project.

You were right on the money. Replaced the caps and now picture is no longer stretched. Thanks!

Good news, your monitor has a new lease of life :)
