It looks like it could be this Wednesday. If so, I am hoping that it is 400 points.

arcade version or nes version?

At TGS they were showing the tate arcade screen Contra and Super Contra. They both were O.K. but the NES version is a little better. Tate-screen Contra is a bit tough to play.... I hope they some video options.

And it's up! Thank god some wicked games are coming.

Just played the demo:

ZOMG- When the Konami logo pops up you'll be stoked... The game is tate screen which sucks... Still undecided whether I'm going to buy it or not.

I just played the demo and I am not sure if I am going to pick this up or not.

I always get excited when a game comes out that I loved years ago, only to play it again and feel like it is not that great.

I know how you feel. I was buying a ton of these XBLA games, but then I got burned by a couple of bad ones.

Contra is a cool game... but they really needed to add more screen modes, at least simulate some fort of yoko mode... Or have the ability to rotate the screen.

I've seen some people complain that this game is much shorter than the nes version. I might pick it up next week if I can't get my hands on Gears of War or Rainbow Six Vegas.

Triple Post OH YEAH. I bought this a few days ago. The game rocks. It's a lot different from the NES version that I'm familiar with so it almost feels like a new game.

The achievements are well designed .. they involve trying pass the tunnel levels quickly, trying to get to the second tunnel with no power ups, beating the game in one credit, etc.

They live multiplayer is spotty as hell.. I don't know why a majority of the XBLA games run so poorly

The game doesn't offer you the ability to Tate your TV with SUCKS.

I'm working on the one credit achivement, if anyone gets it let me know! Post your scores if you get something amazing!
