I appreciate the apology, but I do have serious honesty concerns from our deal that I think need to be answered, and that directly relate to the explanation you just gave in your original post.

You said you were out two weeks, and that a friend was checking your PMs for you. If that's the case, then either your friend was sending replies to some of my PMs to you asking for information about the shipping status of the PCB, or he was letting you know about PMs, and you were responding (which doesn't make sense, since if you could respond, then you could have just checked them yourself). If he responded, he represented himself as you, because he never mentioned that he was answering for you, since you were out. Is that the case, or was it actually you that replied the couple of times that I did receive a reply to my PM? It's pretty common for people to blame problems with a transaction on a "friend", as it takes the heat off them. Either way, it was still your responsibility.

If it wasn't you that sent me the PMs, that's a very bad way to do business, having someone else represent themself as you. He was also dishonest, as he stated that the PCB had been shipped, and that he would provide a tracking number, when in fact your PM from yesterday confirmed that it had not been, as you said that you just tested it.

If you were the one that answered the PMs, then your lack of honesty about the shippng status of the PCB is troubling. I dont' know if you didn't want to tell me that it hadn't shipped, but I would much rather someone be honest about a delay in shipping than be dishonest about it. A PM that either you or your friend sent on 10/28 saying, "sorry man i not at home right now when i get home i will give you the tracking number it was mailed by DHL" (that's pasted from the PM from either you or your friend).

Also, if you were going to be out for a lengthy time, and you weren't going to be able to ship the package, you should have let me know. Communication was very poor throughout, whether from you or your friend, whoever was checking and replying.

Like I said, I do appreciate your apology, but that doesn't address the questions about honesty and communications throughout the transaction. There's no hard feelings as long as I receive a refund for the payment I sent you for shipping, but since you felt it appropriate to post this publicly, and since I never got any answers to any of my PM questions to you, either from you or your friend, whoever was replying to me, I'm hopeful you'll respond to this. You obviously have been a good seller in other transactions here, and it's not my intention to try to undermine your credibility on this site. I'd just like to get some answers. Thanks in advance.

Then why did he tell me that he (as you) would provide a tracking number? Is the friend also a member of the boards here? You shouldn't be giving your account info to someone else, and I would imagine allowing someone else to login as you and portray themselves as you on these boards is probably against the rules of the forums. You're still responsible for anything he says, especially when he's masquerading as you via PM, so as far as I'm concerned, you were the one that told me that the package had shipped.

Well, I'm not going to belabor this any further. People can draw their own conclusions, but I would strongly advise you to never again allow anyone else to use your account here, and especially to allow them to communicate with other board members as if they were you. That has a very underhanded feel to it.
