An american Neo Geo AES system has "Made in Japan" written in console?

I'm asking this, cause a guy told me all Neo Geo (american or japanese) has "Made in Japan" written back in console.

Well, they're all built in Japan, then shipped to where they are sold.

They may print the words on the system in English, but they do that in Japan where they build them

It's either made in Japan or made in Korea...

but that's another can of worms.

Ooo, yeah -Korea. But those would be marked clearly too.

Still, none in America that's for sure.
