Who's picking this up on the 21st?

I know Gears of War will overshadow this title a bit, but I am planning on getting both. If you haven't downloaded the demo, hit Live and grab it now, it's available to US users finally. I love it so far.

There will definitely be some intense online multiplayer firefights in a couple of weeks, and I look forward to seeing some of you guys online.

I will be getting this game as well. I really wish companies would space out the games a little but I will just have to find the time. I am enjoying F.E.A.R. right now and GOW and COD3 come out next week, with Rainbow Six Las Vegas after that. That should be enough gaming to help out the drought that will begin in January.

If it's as good as the video I'm definately picking it up. The game seems like a really fresh new Tom Clancy game and the online play should be intense. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm a big fan of the books. Anyone else read them?

gamespot multiplayer info

Here's what I was hoping for :

"Once you get to the action, the big new addition to Vegas' multiplayer is the "attack and defend" mode. This mode is team-based and has varying objectives, depending on which map you're playing. Some maps will require you to seek out and defuse a bomb; others will make you secure a group of hostages and lead them to safety; and yet others will feature a priority item that you have to retrieve to an extraction point. The bottom line is this: One team will attack a position that the other team has to defend (hence, the name)."

Running on the Unreal 3 engine too!

This has the potential to be the coolest online FPS this year.

Attack and defend sounds a lot like Counter-Strike lol.

Have you tried the demo? You should really give it a download, it will give you an idea of how the game works. I love issuing commands to my team for a change, I just hope they're smarter than the AI team mates in GRAW.

Definately. The demo rocked my world. It felt REALLY stealthy, almost like Tenchu.

Love the setting, the graphics, the awesome special forces outfits and equipment..

IGN just gave this a 9.3.

Great games for the 360 this holiday season.

Based on the demo alone, I've already decided to buy this game. Ubi's doing great things with the 360, GRAW is proof of that.

I played the demo of this and I was pleased with it. I'll be picking this title up for sure.

The game has gone gold, and ships tomorrow.

It's gonna be a great Thanksgiving this year. :buttrock:

You are correct. And...isn't the Lost Planet multi-player demo being released on ThanksGiving Day as well?

Well, I'll have to agree; the demo really kicked butt for me. This year is definitely built up to be one of the most packed amount of videogame goodies coming into Christmas I've seen. I remember the days when you only expected maybe about 2 or 3 across all consoles.

I put the latest Splinter Cell on hold, for this game. Well, also, because I wanted to finish other games, too.

I'd like to add that the game ships TODAY, not tomorrow. It will be in stores tomorrow. Hell yes.

Yep...I got my call that it would be in on Tuesday. However, since I picked up a Wii, I am not sure how long it will be until I play Rainbow Six Vegas. Of course there should be plenty of time with the up coming holidays.

While I enjoyed the demo immensely,I seriously hope that they worked on the frame rate issue.....

I'm kind of putting my Wii time on hold right now. I know it sounds shallow, but I'm still a little pissed that Nintendo didn't have the component cables ready for launch, and I'm kind of motivated to wait for them to come out before I play my system any more. Having my Wii connected to my 480p CRT with composite cables kind of sucks.

So I'm picking mine up today, and hopefully my internet will be back up at home in time to play tonight. I really enjoyed the character customization and unlocks in Black Arrow, and that seems to be making a return in Vegas.

Well I need three more Nunchucks, so some of my Wii games are going to have to sit as I picked them up for multi-player.

Doesn't Rainbow Six Vegas allow face mapping with the camera? I never bought the camera but that would be a cool feature.

VEGAS!

Face mapping is a bitch to get to work, but it looks damn good. Every time I take cover or die I'm like, HEY that's me! Fucking rad.

Online is superb.

The game looks like Vegas. Really well done.

Beezle and I played a few rounds. Pretty intense, I was dying A LOT.

Face mapping is interesting, but I'm not sure I want to spend $40 for that feature alone. I've only played this game offline so far. I'm not sure why, I guess I've been devoting my online time to CoD3 and I prefer to focus on one online game at a time maybe. I really should take Vegas online as well as GoW, I know I'm missing out.

Sounds interesting. I took some time to try out the single player and I'll have to admit; it's really quite nice how far they've come since the original Rainbow.

I think they've come close to perfecting the game interface, for this kind of game. They'll have their work cut out, in order to top this, in the future. The way I see it, other tactical shooters are going to have to steal this stuff if they want a chance of topping these guys.
