F.E.A.R. 360 Live...Anyone Else?

I am guessing with the big releases next week (GOW and COD3) that F.E.A.R. is going to be passed on by most people. I am getting both games next week as well but I also picked up F.E.A.R.

F.E.A.R. is very good and the Live part of it is fantastic. It was easy to get into a match and there were plenty of people playing. I don't remember if I had a game hit the 16 people mark but I know that there were always more than 10. Anyway, great control, very bloody and fast action.

My only complaints would be, no split screen play (so no guests) and there is no end game lobby. You do get stats at the end of a game but there is no lobby to start another game from.

I haven't even played the actual game yet, other than Live and a really fun off line mode called instant action. Good Stuff IMO.

Doom scared the crap out of me, and Fear started to, but now its just gotten too repetitive. The offline just goes action horror action horror action horror. So repetitve. The BGs all look fairly similar and the story sucks. The AI, graphics and sound are all top notch and no slowdown to be seen, but it has started to bore me. All the enemies all look too similar as well. Makes it feel Killzone-ish. I was having fun with it, then it started to fall flat. I am not done with it yet, but I am hoping it starts to pick up some steam.

I'm planning on getting all 3 games. If not next week..... definitely the week after.

I played a few matches on Live today and again, had a blast. This is a very good Live game IMO. I am not sure if I will have time for the story mode will all of the great games coming out over the next couple of weeks. However, I plan on playing F.E.A.R. on Live for a while.

Well, I ended up selling my copy off. With no off line multi-player I moved on to some other games. F.E.A.R. is a great game though that came out when some other really good games were getting ready to come out. It probably would have done better if it could have been released a couple months earlier.
