Hey Guys
my egret 2 is arriving in mere hours after weeks of deliberation! I decided I am going to be putting alpha 3 in instead but had a few general questions about the jamma loom and the fabrication of kick harness connect.
Firstly, I can just plug n play alpha 3 correct? Any of the wiring on the loom itself need to be modified prior to? The pictures I received of the cabinet when I was "thinking" about buying it were of it playing King of Fighters so I am assuming it should be no problem since there are no stereo issues. Would make me feel a little safer if someone reiterated this...
Lastly, I am cutting out some holes for the kick buttons/harness and just using the existing harness from my alpha 3 woody. Will the harness itself run into the CP via a molex connector and from there feed into the CP? Meaning I will need to take note first of which wires are running where and then coordinate them when putting them in the molex block?
Sorry about the newb questions guys, just trying to avoid any potentially avoidable and frustrating problems that could arise due to my inexperience here. Im sure I will have more questions once it arrives
