My new Sengoku 3 game was a bit unforgiving with my old AES system. I was curious as to what kind of malfunctions all of you had with the history of your AES. I realize the NES was king of malfunctions due to this problem but I'd say the AES was 2nd place. With 200 contacts, something's bound to go wrong.
The amazing thing with the Neo AES is that games still play when there is a malfunction present. Lets list our favorite malfunctions here. It'll be an interesting laugh.

I'll start with Sengoku 3. This morning, all active backgrounds and sprites were pixelated to 2 or 4 times their normal size. It was like running the Neo at 160 x 112 resolution. And the game played!

Not AES, but on MVS I've encountered glitches before.

With KOF '98, it didn't run well when I got it. The sound was messed up and some sprites were garbled. I freaked out and reseated it. Same thing. I was at my wits end, till I cleaned it. MAN! A lotta dirt came off, and it's worked perfectly since.

Power Spikes II also was really dirty and had no soundand missing pixels in sprites until cleaned.

Once I only put AOF2 in halfway and got no sound.

Once I didn't have my JAMMA harness on completely and I couldn't use any buttons and there was no sound.

A lotta games I get, I have to clean first or else I get the purple square screen, and sometimes I get missing sound or really garbled sound, but a good cleaning fixes it every time.
