Sorry if this has been covered before, but I've done searches for this problem and had no luck finding any info on it. Basically when I'm on the character select screen the joystick on the 1P side doesn't respond at all. The buttons work fine and the 2P side has no issues. I'm using a MV-1F w/UniBIOS 2.2 and it works on the menu screens for the UniBIOS with no problems. Also, if I choose the default character and go into a match the controls function perfectly. Unfortunately SamSho 4 is the only cart I have currently so I'm unable to test to see if there are issues with other games. Has anyone had this issue before or know a reason this may be happening?

The only thing I can say..
Give the carts contacts a good cleaning though I don't think that would cause that problem..
Is the Cart legit/not a boot..?

Is one of the 3, 4 or 5 hard dips turned on?
Yanno, 3 was turned on and that fixed the problem. Thanks J0e! I was almost positive I double checked those. What exactly are those dips for anyway? In the manual it says 3 is coin switch but doesn't give an explanation of what it does exactly. Also says something about 4, 5, and 6 being communication and 8 being stop mode?J0e Musashi said:
