So I just got a GB Micro. Now, what games should I have?

Yup. Really like this thing and I can toss it right in my back pocket and bust it out when I have time to kill between classes. I picked up Castlevania circle of the moon and it's hard as balls but really good.

Here are the games I'm looking to get. Any other suggestions?

Super Robot Taisen
Astro Boy: Omega Factor
advance wars
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town

Any of the Namco collections are sweet for a quick mindless play. I have had the collection with Dig Dug, Galaga, Galaxian and Pole Position in my GB Micro for a few weeks now.

Same scenario as you: so tiny I can just keep it in my pocket, and whip it out for a quick game when waiting for stuff

Ninja Five-0 if you can find it. If you liked the Pocky and Rocky Series, there's one on GBA, also pretty hard to find.

Pinball of the Dead
Shining Force

There's tons of great games that's just all I can think of right now.

pokemon fire red/leaf green just got reduced to $19.99. i recommend those. if you're at all interested in pokemon.

also, chuchu rocket has the most replay value of any game i've ever played. i think it has like 3000 different puzzles to solve. it's awesome.

Alien Hominid is hard but fun. You'll have to import it but it should be pretty cheap (mine was $10 shipped from the UK).

King of Fighters EX2 is pretty good too but might be hard to find.

I have to second this, an absolute fantastic game, and I think it's still really cheap at Best Buy if you can find a copy there still.

If you're a fan of strategy games, get Advance Wars first. If you're a hardcodre Zelda fan, get Minish Cap first. Otherwise, get Astro Boy first.

Other games to get:
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2
Mario & Luigi (if you're an RPG fan)
Advance Wars 2 (if you enjoyed the first one)
Gunstar Super Heroes (if you enjoyed Astro Boy)
Super Street Fighter IIX (with the possible exception of Tekken for PSP, arguably the best portable fighting game yet)
Double Dragon Advance (arguably the best Double Dragon game ever made)

...if you enjoyed Symphony of the Night on PSX and/or Metroid for the SNES, consider getting one of the games from either series (there were 3 Castlevania GBA games, and 2 Metroids).

If you're into the mood for the olden days (or if you by some stroke of ungodly luck had missed it), pick up Link to the Past. If you haven't played it, then you simply must own it for the GBA.

Wario Ware was mindless fun; I thought it was worth it for the ability to unlock a complete rendition of Dr. Mario.

pound-for-pound I've probably played my GBA more than any other console I've ever owned.

This thread makes me want to go buy more games.

Astro Boy>>>Gunstar Super Heroes

Also, Mega Man & Bass. Don't ask, just BUY.

I have to question soulthug's mental stability if he actually likes GGXA. Hearing Zep on a GBA is sweet, but other than that, come the fuck on.
