Hi. I'm having a bit of a problem with my MKII pcb. Whenever I use the coin switch on my cab to "insert coins", or when I set it to free play and try to press start, I get a GAME OVER screen. Every now and then it'll work, but if I press a certain button during gameplay, the match resets. It worked fine when I got it a few weeks ago, and this is not the first time I've had problems with a MKII. I've probably had two others that did the EXACT same thing, and I can't figure out what the problem is. All of the roms check out fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Check your wiring harness for shorts... if a certain button does it then you can trace that back to the 74HC541 IC that connects those buttons to the outside world.

If you need the schematic I can email you a copy.

Thanks for the reply. I just gave the pcb another test...turns out the problem was merely I loose Jamma connection. The harness on my Egret II cab fits a little differently than on my old SuperNova, and I didn't have it connected far enough if that makes any sense. Its working just fine now.
