MV-1C audio through supergun to TV

The supergun that I bought doesn't appear to have the JAMMA mono audio wired properly for me to run RCA audio from the supergun to my TV for sound from my MV-1C. The supergun has dual mono RCA outputs wired in series, from connectors 10 and L. I know the 1C is only capable on mono JAMMA audio, and has an onboard amp. From what I've read, the audio wiring on the supergun won't work if going to a TV, since the TV speakers are also amplified. I hooked them to my TV originally, and got no game sounds from the supergun, and only faint sounds when entering credits with the coin buttons on the supergun. I did get a couple of pops, which hopefully doesn't mean that I hosed the amp on the MV-1C. The TV audio is fine.

From some supergun threads I've read, I'll need an attenuation circuit in the audio wiring on the supergun to be able to connect the RCA outputs on the supergun to a amplified speakers. Other posts I've read on this and other sites say that connector L shouldn't be attached at all if running audio out to an amplied speaker. So, at this point I'm pretty confused. If someone can set me straight on what I need to do to get sound working properly, I'd appreciate it. Wiring/circuit diagrams would also be appreciated greatly.

remove the audio amp on the 1c. And wire it for stereo.

Actually, once I get the supergun working properly, I'm going to be selling the stuff, so I don't want to remove anything from the board. A buyer could want to use it in a cab. Unless it turns out the amp is fried, in which case I might consolize the 1C and sell it that way, since I already have the components to consolize it. Thanks for the advice.

You don't need an attenuation circuit at all. Just adjust the volume level on the board.
