Another pre-order I'll be making.

If this holiday season could possibly cost me anymore money, I would honestly cry. :P

Thats pretty ugly. I always though the placement of the other 4 buttons on these controllers was very awkward. It seems illogical that anyone would use this stick for anything other than 3/4 button fighters.

Wow, gorgeous!

And yes, the only thing I don't like about these PS2 sticks is the placements of the added buttons...

The thing I don't like about my Neo Stick 3 is that the ball is larger than the normal Neo stick. It's quite stupid.

That one hardly looks like a Neo Geo controller anymore.

I still have to get a second one, and preferrably one with a normal sized ball this time.

Pretty cool, but the MOTW version is still my favorite.

To be honest, SNK fanboyism aside, the "classic" Neo joystick controller always has been cheap & light. It was never really that great to begin with.

Its pretty damn sturdy for how light it is.

Yeah, I was turned off too when I saw how they added the L and R buttons, and what an awkward shape they gave them.

My guess is that they included them for the 5-button AW ports.

The PS2 NGCD control pad, on the other hand, is fairly well designed I thought.

Oh man that looks nice. Not classic, but classy. Kinda in a Neo Geo meets Famicom meets gaystation sorta way. I'll have to figure out some way to afford this.

BTW, sorry for being so dumb, but what's Ougi?

thats damn ugly. I prefer the original black look over the gay strawberry shortcake look.

An ougi is a folding fan. See how in the lower-right corner of the joystick it has a picture of a fan?

"KyokugenRyu OUGI!!!! ora ora ora ora ORA ORA ORA!!! MORATAH!!!!!"

Close. Good guess though.

That ougi means "secret technique", as in "Kyokugenryu Secret Technique".

The ougi on the joystick means fan.

The difference is in the intonation (and the kanji)

ou GI = fan

OU gi = secret technique

It sounds like a really small, unimportant difference, but we have the same in English too...

pre SENT = to introduce

PRE sent = a gift

ORA ORA ORA!
