2.1mm barrel jack questions

how do you wire this? I see 3 terminals I can solder to.

and the adapter says positive tip polarity I believe, it says this:
- -------(@-------- +

It's the same one here from Jameco.

Any help is appreciated.

They are usually wired with one pin connected to the center post (easy to tell since it's connected to the very center of the back side of the jack) and with 2 pins connected to the outside. (One gets disconnected when you plug in the supply into it)

Take your multimeter and you should be able to pin it out easily.

I couldnt find my multimeter so thats why I was asking. I just found it like 5 minutes ago, moving is a bitch. You can never find anything.
