Pre-ordered it yesterday at Gamestop. Comes out Dec. 6.

They also said it's going to be $39.99. WTF. :mad:

Oh well, I'm gonna get it anyways itf it's even close to as good as DoS.

Yeah, it looks great...i'm glad they are doing away with the seal writing...that was the only thing I didn't like about DoS.

I need to go preorder now!

I absolutely cannot wait for this game.

I played it at E3 and the enemies all just look so much cleaner and more detailed than Dawn of Sorrow.. looks really nice. Feels nice too.

Definitely a game I'm looking forward to. I loved DOS and it seems like many people who have seen this says its going to be better! My only gripe is, its still a months time before its released (unless it gets put back even later).

Looking forward to picking this up. I just wish we could get a new 2-d version on the next gen systems with high res graphics like Guilty Gear X2, and CD quality music, and huge areas to explore.

Local Gamestop's should of gotten the Castlevania bonuses in. Be aware, if the managers are stiffs, they'll hold the bonus till release. I know mine was very reluctant to give me the bonus.

I don't mind getting the bonus upon release as long as I get it.

I reserved my copy on October 25th. I swear, if they don't have the reserve gift when I pick it up I'm fighting the employees.

This game is gonna rock hardcore. I've picked up every castlevania at launch ever since SOTN.

I think i'm gonna replay DoS. I just finished unlocking everything in the double pack (which rocks hardcore BTW).

I almost bought the Castlevania Double Pack for the GBA today but then I realized that I'll be getting Portrait of Ruin and Kirby Squeak Squad next week and that I still haven't finished FFIII or Yoshi's Island.

My DS is getting too much lovin' these days.

Scored a 20th Anniversary Pack from my local EB today. Yeah, i heard they got them in so I went for it. I'm pretty satisfied with what they give you. The art book and timeline are really nice and most of the CD tracks are worth it. The stylus wasn't as long as I expected it to be. It's still pretty sweet for a collectable item, though.

I kind of wished the actually case that holds all the contents was a hardback. It's really thin and can get smushed real easy. Anyone who pre-ordered the game should definitely try and see if they can get their Anniversary pack a little early.

Btw, I didn't know Michiru Yamane(SotN fame) and Yuzo Koshiro(Streets of Rage, Shinobi III, Actraiser, etc) are composing the music for Portrait of Ruin. Sounds like a killer music team right there.

The Manager wouldn't let me have it early. The managers at EB/GS seem to usually be dicks, while the regular employees are sometimes pretty cool.

There is no bonus game. People are selling off the bonus items without the game and getting over $60 on Ebay.

I am guessing that may go down as more people get a hold of their bonus items. However, EB dropped the bonus deal weeks back, so I have no idea how many they are releasing.

Can't wait until tomorrow. I got one of my pre-order bonuses and a friend of mine at Gamestop said he would hold the other one back when it came in. We really need to get some two player action going very soon.

Just got shipping info/confirmation from EB that it was on its way. Including the bonus pack :)
