I find it excellent, i have much more fun than during the 1st one, but i guess that s because i am more fond of the original trilogy.
Technicaly it is verry well done. Visualy verry pleasing -don t see much difference from the bigger editions-, great steady framerate at 333MHz, good framerate at 222 (slows down when there are a lot of coins on the floor), I have yet to see graphics bug or severe popup, there s a little bit of ghosting but nothing too bad, the soundtrack is verry good, lot of action... i like it a lot.
The camera gets the job done, it s on a rail but focuses on the action (same kind as the 1st one, if you go backward the camera won t turn), The handling (which is relative to the camera) is spot-on and the rail camera eases the task of moving around (there won t be sudden turns that make you fall in a pit and the like).
The length of missions is a bit of a concern... during my 30mn train sitting i don t have time to finish a level, you cannot save in the middle of one, and turning the PSP into sleep will disable the autosave feature, but that s a PSP design problem, nothing too bad.
Loads of unlockables and hidden stuff, there s a good replay value imo (some paths are accessible only to characters I have yet to unlock in the levels i ve played).
Great PSP game (whereas the DS one is really bad, tons of bugs, crashes etc despite having relativly good modeling when the polygons don t disapear)
