The contours are wrong for both units to fit together arent they?.

You would be better getting the Mk2 version of the PBC as it is more like an old SFC/snes cart slot extender in shape and so fits all types of megadrive/genesis.

I don't think there is any internal difference between ones sold in PAL and NTSC regions apart from the branding on the front of them.

You could use a honeybee adapter as a pass through, it worked for me.

if you take the case off the power base converter it will fit and function.

has anyone run it directly on a cdx? just asking since that's how i use mine.... big converter, cdx, and that's it.... it's worked fine for me.... i had to do ut this way as my genesis has the 32x connected, and i don't feel like switching the 2 all the time.

I use my power base converter directly on top of my cdx without any adapter. No problems here.
