Cooking Mama for the Nintendo DS handheld entertainment system

Sorry for the stupid thread title, stupid <20 character rule, :lolz:

Picked up my black DS Lite and this game last night. Anybody play it? I thought it looked interesting before I knew it was coming out here. So, when I saw that it was coming out here, I told myself that I would buy it.

Different, but kind of slow...

I just got it today, but have yet to play it. The $20 price really sold me on it.

Just got done playing this. Interesting title to say the least. Seems like it's lacking something though, does she talk in the Japanese version?

I kind of agree that it's lacking something too. Its a pretty fun game for 20 bucks though. On teh back cover of the booklet it advertises some bomber game, and says it's out now, but I've never heard of it.

Was it Moster Bomber? If so, it got pushed back. It has been out in Japan for a long time now and is not suppose to be very good.

That's too bad. Taito really needs to redeem themselves with something big. They're starting to lose some of my respect.

stopped by target yesterday and I believe there were about 2 copies of cooking mama left good price, I also noticed Harvest Moon so is it fun to play weevus?

Also noticed that all Gamecube games are on sale for about 20 pop, I figure Gamecube is pretty much dying. On the other hand I saw Final Fantasy 7 or the PS2 I forget the subtitle but I'm really starting to want it.

I don't know about Harvest Moon. The reviews were mediocre, but I have a friend who says its really good. Like I said, Cooking Mama isn't too bad, I just don't find the cooking that fun. I would also say that Gamecube has been dying for a long time. The only thing that's keeping it on life support is the prospect of Zelda.

Ahh...Zelda the only game worth keeping my Gamecube for, its like music to my ears. Correct me if I'm wrong but its scheduled to come out this fall, right?

Zelda for the cube is scheduled for a Dec. 11th release...the Wii version will be out on Nov. 19th.

There are a few games I still play regularly that keep my cube alive:

Ikaruga, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, and Naruto 2.
