Seriously? Is it that hard to make an ad that isn't so shitty?

Maybe if the system wasn't such trash, it would inspire ad agencies to do good work.

I'm just looking foward to the ps3 ads,
my favorite psp ad is the one where the people continuously throw it away, plus half the time the recipient seems disgusted, really what where they thinking

The system was pretty lackluster after the inital wowness. The only thing that keeps it going (for the users) are the free games through hacks. This does little to support the industry though. Hell, even the DS and Lite need some cards to play backed-up games. So you could say it wins out in that respect. Overall the games for the PSP are poor. I don't even want to waste the time downloading 99% of them.

Hahaha, I loved watching that commercial with the volume down.

'What the fuck? What is it? Why is it so big? Not an ipod. I laugh at you, now ditch you! Curse you Sony product!!"

Yeah they have been full of suck. I sort of liked the odd creatures...as it was out there and memorable. Even though in bad way as I didn't exactly get a good impression.

What more could be done though?

PSP needs cards to play back ups as well. I have to agree though, the hacks were really the only thing that made keep my PSP for so long. I got bored of it and sold it a few days ago, I got $200 for the system and a 1gb card. I'm happy. I'm seriously thinking about putting the money towards an Astro City cab.

PSP CPS2 Emulation is DA BOMB! you can't deny that.

as long as i have emus, movies (like Snatch) to watch and games like Ridge Racer and an MP3 player , Im happy with mine. Gotta love that screen and its capabilities to play just about any game ever made through emulation. :) Plus GTA series... I love my psp. And as for thier ads, I downloaded them all and I enjoy them, they are funny as hell and if you dont like them you have no sense of humor.

At this pace, I think the PSP is heading for an early grave. There are a few decent games coming out for it in the next couple of months, but personally nothing that really gets me excited (I am not a GTA guy). Don't get me wrong, I played the shit out of Ridge Racer, Mina no Golf, and Ultimate Ghouls and Ghosts. Those games were great. However, I really think it is the beginning of the end unless we really start getting some stellar titles. That being said, it is hard to make advertisements when you have shitty material to work wirth.

I think that was the most honest ad Sony ever made though.

Acutally I thought it was hilarious,

"How do you entertain yourself travelling without a PSP?"-Dustball

"Caw!Caw!"-Goose

"Oh,you poop on people's heads! Oh man, that does sound pretty entertaining!"-Dustball

You can't tell me you didn't laugh when the little dustball was talking about how he married everyone woman in the world, even the ugly ones... Pretty funny if you ask me. :tickled:
