Ack I just dont know man

I played the first one, 3 times over even. The one on gameboy. The N64 One, The one on playstation 2. Missed the one on playstation. And then bought the one on cube

It seems like they are just sapping the series now. I might get it if it is awesome. But well see.

Any WIFI in it?

I thought about it but there are too many games coming out this week. I am picking up Mega Man ZX, Mario Hoops for the DS and then some games for the Gamecube and 360 as well.

IGN just gave it a 6, so I would be interested to hear what actual buyers think of it. I am sure that I will pick it up at some point.

Yeah, I read that too. A little dissapointing. I might just wait to find it used, if it's not too hard to find.

When does that come out?

Cooking Mama comes out today. I had to order it through EBGames, since the actual stores didn't have pre orders set up for it.

That's weird. Hopefully the stores will still have it.

That happens on some of the budget DS games for some reason. I would think that the stores will have it, it just wasn't an option to pre order. I have read that others tried to pre order at EB and GameStop as well and had no luck.

Anyway...I am sure that Toys R Us will have it and probably Best Buy?

Stay away from it. I am so pathetically addicted to it, it's not even funny.

The game warps your senses. After playing for about 3 HOURS STRAIGHT today I took my dogs outside. Instinctively, I wanted to start picking up flowers and branches laying around and put them in my rucksack.

Best $30 ever spent. :lolz:

I picked it up the other day. Bad idea! I've been so addicted to the stupid thing that I totally forgot about a term paper I had to write (which I am now doing). :D

Honestly, I think it's really good. It's got a strange control system that I'm not too crazy about, but I've gotten used to it. The game also seems to be prone to freezing at random points, so save often.

But overall, I'd say it's very much a good purchase.

Still playing it since my last post, damn good.

I have prize winning chickens now, numerous cows (lost a few in the blizzard of '03 :( ), Level 3-4 crops, all the "Maker" machines, level 3 house upgrade with a bath, toilet and kitchen and a mushroom shed.

This game is beyond addicting, just a word of warning.

There is actually some problems with glitches that are driving people nuts. My fiance was playing and had a 2nd year farm and the save state just got corrupted.

When the above mentioned blizzard of '03 wiped my first animal shed out, the whole farm turned into distorted pixelated garbage. I got really scared I lost everything at that point.

Harvest Moon was at its best on the N64. Downhill since then.

Some would even say the first one on SNES was the best.

Both the N64 and snes were great. I still got to pick this one up. The others were subpar in my opinion.

I'm so goddamn salty still. I erased my 100+ hour farm last night on accident.

I am a trooper though so I started a new one today. Poor farm.

I got hooked on Harvest Moon back when it first came out for SNES in 1997. My friend told me about this "bizarre farming RPG that you just gotta play", so that one will always have classic status with me. I loved the N64 version as it really set the benchmark for the games to come.

But, after playing (and still playing) the DS version, I would hazard to say it surpasses even the N64 one for the title of best Harvest Moon yet. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but the level of depth to it is really amazing. You can even marry the Harvest Goddess if you want to. How can you say no to a game like that? :D

I have to agree with dubdubdub on this one. It's awesome.
