US/JPN Tetris DS Question

Hi all,

I am going to buy my girlfriend a Pink DS tomorrow as well as Tetris DS. My question is to those who have played either the JPN or US version of the game. My gf is Japanese and doesn't read English too well, so I was wondering if there is a lot of English in-game text on the menu screens. Obviously it is Tetris, and Tetris is Tetris, but I mean are there in game explainations about the different types of game modes and such. I was trying to look for the JPN version of the game, but because the US one has been out so long, none of the import stores have it anymore, and I don't want to buy on line because I want to give her the system tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don't know about the language questions but doesn't the pink DS Lite come out Wednesday? Unless you are talking about the regular DS and not the Lite version.

Pink/Black DS Lite comes out tomorrow (9/11) at Nintendo World Store in NYC. They get the products about a day earlier than the rest of electronic stores.

I am sure that your friend will have no problems... it's all very straightforward and the only explanations are for the different, stranger games, like push or that blob game.

If you are unsure, all first party nintendo game manuals are on nintendo's site!

Lots of screenshots (including menu selection screens)... I can assure you that she will pick it up very easily!
