Can someone please tell me how I can erase all the book-keeping records and scores off a Cartridge? I have a ton of scores on my Magical Drop III I want to remove so my GF can get her name on the board.

Take the cart(s) out of the MVS board and it will go straight to the BIOS.
I'm pretty sure you can clear the memory in the bios.

On a MVS, go into test mode --> hit service button if you have one, start with no game in mobo, or power up mobo with dip 1 on.

If you used service mode or dip 1 go to hardware test & press button A then use p1 start button to navigate the different screens until you get to the reset memory option and follow directions to clear memory.

If you booted up with no cart, you will boot to cross hatch screen --> you will already be in hardware test mode, follow above directions.

Scores / settings are saved on mobo not on the cart.

Remove the memory card when you do this. The memory card test screen you have to go through has a habit of erasing all your data.
