I was on a roadtrip to Arkansas, and in backwater Missourah I found me a Nomad. I just realized I can plug it into a TV. Which AV connection am I going to need?

The last game store I owned I had several of these come in, which was odd because I had not seen one in a while. Very nice systems IMO.

It has been a while, so I don't remember which style Genesis AV plug worked. I thought it was the older style (the original) but could be wrong. I am sure someone here will post the correct one.

I love the fact you can plug a controller into it and two people can play on the TV.

Yeah, genesis 2. Also the same video connection is on the CDX (which is the cable I use for my Nomad)

@Bobak, don't have a Genesis 2 model to check, but I have just checked my mini Genesis (aka Genesis 3) and the A/V cords work perfectly on my TV. So far I have owned about 5 Nomads and still have my original Nomad.

Ah, cool. I have a CDX and I remember the Genesis 2 cable (only because I got screwed when my old Genny 1 AV cord broke right after the Genesis 2 has become dominant... I eventually found one a year later at this old store outside of Homer, Alaska. Weird, I know).

Alas no... If I had been in Little Rock I definitely would've checked it out because I'm a big architecture nut and I saw it profiled in a few magazine. There's definitely a little bit of humor in its shape.

I was only in the NW part around the Fayetteville-Springdale-Bentonville cooridor (with a quick drive through the Ozarks from Branson). If you want to see photos, I posted links to them in this post (you also get to see another "famous" member of this forum :p

Damn man, I was probably at the University while you were doing this.... Not that we could have done anything if we would have met up. I swear there's absolutely nothing to do here but go out to eat or watch football games. It gets a little old sometimes. :annoyed:

nice find bobak! sega nomad is my all time favorite handheld. umm... 2 handheld.

I use the AV from my Genesis 3, as well as the power supply. BTW, a bit off subject, but the AV from a Genesis 1 will also work for a PC Engine.

LOL, Magnaflux, djdelly, myself and one of my co-workers were killing time in a bar before the game. I didn't see you on the Frappr map otherwise I would've tried contacting you. Oh well, sorry about that --I really enjoy meeting people from the forum. 60+ in person so far. Heh... it's sort of like Neogeokémon: gotta meet'em all!
