I recently had my first transaction with him, I bought a couple of carts. One was fairly clean with a reprinted color label. The other looked like it had been buried in the ground for a year or so. After I cleaned the gunk off of it, I was satisfied. The hardest part is getting the grime out from between the little vents on the shell.

For what I paid, I'm pretty happy. I got KOF '98 and Magical Drop 2 for a total of $25, can't beat that.

He's not hated if you don't mind watching out for original MVS shells and don't mind doing a lot of cleaning when you receive the carts. He's a reliable seller, never a problem in all my transactions with him.

If all else fails, I always can rely on Yaton. His prices are great, though sometimes I've scored even better deals in the selling forum.

Yatons MVS Carts=it had been buried in the ground for a year or so.

yaton is awesome, some of the systems best games at very very reasonable prices, all for a 20 minute cleaning job...nothing I dont do with any MVS game I get anywhere. If its not an original label I always do the same thing, rip it off, take the case apart and throw the pieces in the sink with some hot soapy water.....in the end, the only defect is the scracthes on most of his carts, slap on a fresh label and we're golden all for less then half what it would have cost elsewhere.

Junk yards? That's my best bet. If old arcade cabs & equipment don't go to warehouses they usually go to the dump.

As I understand he bought a whole warehouse full of MVS carts in china for a stupidly cheap price.

And when it's finally empty of all the old arcade junk, he's going to make a really fun playhouse in there, just like the place where everyone hangs out on the Double Dragon movie.

If this is true, then that explains why his carts are so dusty/dirty. And it also explains why someone said a spider was inside one of their MVS carts.

I work in a warehouse, and the dust/dirt that collects on the stuff in there is unbelievable. Sometimes when we pull merchandise that has to be shipped, the boxes look like someone just dug it up from underground.

This leads me to believe that he just has a warehouse full of loose MVS carts sitting around collecting dust. This problem could be solved if he decided to put the carts in cardboard boxes, but I guess he thinks that would be too time consuming or whatever.

My Yaton carts are actually quite clean on the outside. The shells are in excellent condition and I can't see any dirt on or through the vents. They are in much better condition than a Slug X I bought on these forums and a Neo Bomberman I got from COSMICCO. Of course, these Yaton carts did take 2 months to arrive, so...

They vary. You can get some pretty nice ones from him sometimes too -- not just the new kits, some loose carts as well. You usually know about what you're getting from the photos in the auction. I got my KOF 03 and SVC Chaos kits new from him, and there couldn't have been a better way to get them.
